Our Seventh Graders have shown enthusiasm and confidence at being exposed to English in different ways during this semester. The teaching – learning process that we are applying is completely supported by technology, which is really important to develop essential skills that enrich their 21st century competencies.
This year has been an opportunity to show how risk takers students can be when learning the usage of the virtual classroom, which is an excellent tool to foster acquisition and application of knowledge. Moreover, students are being motivated by listening to weekly songs which are being practiced and sung to improve their fluency in speaking.
Watching Netflix is not only a way to spend time with their families but also a chance to expand their international-mindedness. Furthermore, their creativity and independence are helping them to prepare themselves at Duolingo platform in which they can learn and have fun at the same time.
As teachers, we feel proud of our students and their great enhancement of English.
