The students of the second year of basic education A, B and C participated in one of the proposed activities in unit 6, corresponding to “Sharing the planet” transdisciplinary theme. The main objective of this activity was to identify the parts of the plant through observation and the data collection.
The students developed attributes of inquiry and demonstrated attitudes of enthusiasm and creativity, in addition to developing responsibility since they had to take care of their plant with all the elements that this requires.
The students registered data in a journal day by day of each one of the plants. After that, they exposed the information and share their results with the rest of the class.
At the end, students carried out a self-evaluation, determining the factors that they had to improve and those they had already achieved, taking into account factors such as: work organization and data collection.
This project was very enriching for the students since they experienced the learning, internalizing not only the parts of the plant, but also learning from the care and responsibility with nature and the environment that surrounds them.
